GlowSend provides world-class security through its partnership with Ukheshe, a global platform created in 2018 to ensure that South African SMMEs are not left behind as the world transitions to online banking.
Today, Ukheshe enjoys endorsement from The World Bank, is a Mastercard Start Path partner, and took second place in the KPMG Private Enterprise Global Tech Innovator Africa competition in 2021. As a financial product, GlowSend is subject to rigorous South African compliance practices. You can, therefore, have peace of mind knowing we protect you through the process of knowing your customer (KYC).

Security for you as a merchant
KYC is the process of verifying your customer's identity before any financial details are exchanged. When you, as a merchant, use GlowSend for the first time, you will be required to upload a picture of your ID or passport followed by a selfie.
Verification is then done instantly through PEP screening, UN and OFAC sanction checks. For an extra layer of protection, we have an algorithm in place that blocks any suspicious activity.
All the information you provide is encrypted and stored in banking-grade servers.
